What we say:
The Gibson ES-335 is undoubtedly one of the most versatile designs in electric guitar history. Traditionally favoured by jazz and blues players for it's thick yet three dimensional tone, the f-hole laden semi-hollow ES-335 has also become omnipresent is indie rock, hard rock, alternative, lo-fi and fusion genres, such as the adaptability of it's tones. Less muscular sounding than a Les Paul, the 335's woody, responsive sound finds itself well suited to quiet, loud, precise, articulate and powerful tones just by the player's approach.
Cherry red is perhaps you finish you instantly think of when an ES-335 is mentioned. It's a gorgeous, classic Gibson colour and it's very well applied on here. Nice details include the mini block fretboard inlays and Grover tuners. A pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers translate the tones to complete the 1960s vibe in all it's adaptable charm. For the ultimate semi-acoustic guitar, could no further than the model that defined them in the first place: the ES-335
