I found this on eBay for about $300 plus shipping. No one else bid on it. I don't know what the body's made out of but it's incredibly light. I don't know what the neck's made out of but it's satin, looks like maple and has a 20" radius so it's pretty flat. I don't know what the pickups are but they sound OK to me - very vintage-like and low output.
The bottom tone pulls out and engages a parallel thing with the middle pickup and the neck tone pulls out and engages the neck pickup with whatever else you have selected.
It's a crappy bridge but the intonation is spot on. The frets need a dress and I've set it up for 2/32 action on all strings. There was no whammy bar so I haven't gone down that track yet. I think I'll stick a vintage trem and block on it and get that working properly. But still, it's a bargain as far as I'm concerned. And the decal? A 'replica', I think. I doubt whether this is a real Fender neck but you never know...
I wrote a HIWATT rig with the Fractal and pulled out the old trusty Floyd backing track to give you a listen. On the Fractal, the first Drive is a 3-knob Chandler and the 2nd Drive is a classic Muff Pi. Rock! $300!!
