This is a jam demo of the yet-to-be-released Iron Duke V2 amp from MI Amplification - an amp you should take a long look at. It's like a cross between the SLP's and a very hot-rodded JCM800.
The specimen you hear and see is a late prototype and while the voicing is largely fixed, the relays were still being refined at the time of writing, hence a teensy bit of lag between channel switching. You can rest assured that there won't be any lag on the production models.
The backing track is another of Guthrie Govan's creations, "Doobie Vibe" from his 2012 "Late Night and Melodic Sessions".
The guitar is a Music Man 25th Anniversary. It's a little masterpiece, really. They didn't make too many so I'm lucky to have found this one.
The cab is an OwnHammer Marshall Heritage G12H Impulse Response. I have a Fractal Audio X-LOAD LB-2 Reactive Load box jacked into the Iron Duke's 8Ohm speaker output. It is feeding the front input of an Axe-FX II XL+ which is hosting the OwnHammer IR and also the delay and reverb (post IR).
