This pretty Pelham Blue Les Paul Custom has the sort of holy-grail bass response that tonehounds like me spend our entire lives chasing! This serial's low-end is as powerful as any vintage Custom I've ever tried, and it has an old-school, focused frequency response that emphasizes the fundamental. So, single note lines pack an unusual wallop, and chords sound thick and juicy without any unwanted fat or flub. The high end is crisp and transparent, but there's still plenty of harmonic content there to add some extra fullness. In both pickup positions, you get plenty of that classic raspy PAF character, but it's more pronounced in the bridge position. Anyone looking for a Les Paul with a fat bottom end will love this serial!
