Welcome to Crimson Guitars https://www.youtube.com/user/CrimsonCustomGuitars?sub_confirmation=1 and Ben's home workshop.
In this episode, Ben 'de-clamps' or takes off the masking tape holding the front and back pieces flat while gluing, and uses a variety of hand planes to bring both pieces to the correct thickness. He cuts two side pieces from the solid chunk and starts to plan how to seamlessly bend the corners into shape. This will involve some bracing pieces that have to be custom-made to fit the correct angles. He also begins to piece together the neck pocket.

You asked and Ben will deliver...our eccentric (read insane) Luthier will be building an entire guitar out of a single piece of Mahogany! With hand tools only...maybe!
