SPL have a pretty wide range of products, but at Messe 2018 they decided to showcase their rather eye (and ear)-catching Mastering range.
We sat down with SPL company co-founder Hermann Gear, who gave us an in-depth explanation of how the range of products fits the mastering process, and the technical aspects of SPL equipment (such as the 120V DC internal rail voltage) that sets them apart.
Interesting stuff, and even if you're not a mastering engineer, it's good to have an insight into mastering and the gear involved in optimising it.
