THE GUITAR IN THE VIDEO HAS SOLD! CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO CHECK OUT MORE!
It’s appropriate this J-45 has a bright blue finish, because it’s one of the brightest-sounding Gibsons I’ve ever played, and it’s perfect for blues! It still has the characteristic midrange of a Gibson, but with booming bass and treble that cuts right through the mix!
This is the sort of acoustic that Johnny Marr of The Smiths or Robert Smith from The Cure would use for their main rhythm track—midrange-y enough to sound full and toppy enough to sit perfectly next to the hi-hat and drive the song forward. I was also able to make one of my coworkers do a guitar face while I played a bluesy lick, which is a great indicator of this guitar’s capacity for I-IV-V nastiness. If you seek a bright Gibson with looks that kill, check this puppy out!
