Roland again raises the bar with the introduction of the TD-50 series V-Drums. The TD-50 is effectively the fourth generation of V-Drums following the TD-30, TD-20, and the original TD-10 V-Drums kits.
TD-50 Drum Sound Module – Completely redesigned from the ground up, the TD-50 has a brand new sound set featuring Roland’s new “Primal Tone Modeling” technology that surpasses the playability and expressiveness even beyond the popular TD-30 SuperNatural sound engine.
Other TD-50 Drum Sound Module features include:
• Digital – Trigger Connectivity for up to 3 multi-sensor digital pads
• User Sample Import function enables layering or playback of audio data
• USB 10 channel Audio for DAW multi –track recording

• 14” Digital Snare V-Pad with a 3-ply mesh head and Roland’s proprietary Multi sensor technology including head, rim, and mute sensors

CY-18DR V-Cymbal Digital Ride
• 18” Digital Ride V-Cymbal with Multi sensor technology including edge, bow, bell and mute sensors

• New touch mute sensor enables drummers to mute the ride cymbal with stick or even a finger
The TD-50 series will be initially available in two kit configurations – TD-50KVS and TD-50KS which both feature a 5 piece configuration with a “one up, two down tom pad configuration.
