This is a Jam-only demo taking you through some of the internal and external routing possibilities of the mighty new Thermion Freeway Analog Interface Amplifier. The chatty demo can be viewed at https://youtu.be/cQ00a313JyE
In this video you'll seem me bring in and out the Preamp Send/Return and the Effects Send/Return. The Preamp S/R sees a 5150 Block Lead channel courtesy of the Axe-FX III. The Effects Loop sees a stereo dual delay also from the Axe-FX III (which is a crazy good effects rack if you want it to be). There's a Nobels ODR-1 between my guitar and the Freeway. The Freeway loves standard pedals as much as it does rack gear, making it a very good all-rounder solution. That's it. Hopefully the video will tell the rest of the story.
Two years in the design and making, the Thermion Freeway offers clean and break-up analog amp sims with a clever Mids control that can sail you through a 6L6 style response through to EL34 and most stops in-between. There are eight exceptional Reverb algorithms on board that are worth the price of admission alone. And there's a lot more. Stereo XLR outputs with or without cab sim. A choice of V30 or G12 Greenback speaker sims; e906 or '57 mic models - on or off axis; 1x12 or 4 x12 speaker cab response. USB-C DAW facility. Stereo FX Loop. External Preamp Send/Return. Headphone output. The Freeway, folks, is a VERY capable solution for desktop recording as well as being the answer to your stereo pedalboard amp-modelling DI needs. And the most important thing is, it sounds fantastic. Nice one, Thermion!
