Chemistry Design Werks is known for putting the pedalboard world on its head with the Holeyboard Pedalboards, the easiest to use pedalboards on the planet that grow and expand with your needs without the need for messy velcro that doesn’t hole up.
In the vein of making things sound better and easier to use, we give you the Gigawatt Overdrive & Delay. It’s different and it has some fancy special features that we think you will like.
The sounds:
An meaty, organic overdrive up front with very little compression and a variable mid-boost to get you where you want in the mix. It feels like a you are putting 1.21 gigawatts into the front end of your amp, not fuzzy distortion, but clear, articulate chunky power. Sounds amazing arpeggiated and with single notes. Drives your amp in a way you haven’t heard before.
On the other side a delay that is just right to add a little something something to your solos or to get a little slapjack or use it instead for a warmer reverb.
Special Features:
We’ve noticed many people, ourselves included, who get a pedal they like, spend time with it and find one setting and never, ever veer from it again. We realized that this is a guitar crime, there are so many cool sounds in your pedals and it’s a shame to stop experimenting. Introducing our new Chemistry Design Werks Experimenter Knobs!
Upon close inspection you will notice that the knobs are different. The knobs allow you to mark your favorite setting easily and come back to them anytime. This is analog memory, nothing digital, it’s reliable and won’t move when you don’t want it to. Freeing you up to experiment, create, explore and try new things with the confidence that you can always get back to your sweet spot. The Experimenter knobs also allow you to easily visually scan your pedal when you get to a show to make sure that all your settings are in the right place.
This is our first pedal and we’ve put our hearts and souls into it, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
