In this demonstration, Dagan shows us how versatile the Fender Classic Player Baja 60s Telecaster really is and discusses the new Pau Ferro fingerboard.
Designed by Fender master builder, Chris Fleming, the new Fender Classic Player Baja ‘60s Telecaster is based on the legendary luthier’s very own original Baja Telecaster, resulting in a vintage inspired workhorse with modern improvements.
The Fender Classic Player Baja ‘60s Telecaster has a comfortable 60s style “C” shaped neck profile as well as American Vintage pickups to provide that classic tonality. In addition, you have the S-1 Switch which allows you to play the pickups in/out of phase whilst you use the 4 way pickups selector to select each pickup (American Vintage ’52 Tele (Neck) and ’58 Tele (Bridge) Pickups) separately or use them in Parallel/Series. It’s a world of tonal options!
We also get to see the new Pau Ferro fingerboard – a wood used extensively by the legend Stevie Ray Vaughan.
