Featuring a Modern C shape neck profile with a 9.5" radius, the Strat and Tele are extremely comfortable to play and feel great in your hands. If you've picked up last year's American Original models before, then there's definitely a familiarity here and we really liked the feel of the new models. You'll now find a 2 point trem with bent steel saddles on the Strat and 6 bent steel saddles on the Tele's, along with aesthetic additions such as their 50's style spaghetti logo which are sure to entice fans of their vintage models. Push/Pull pots on the Jaguar, Jazzmaster and Tele HH for coil splitting have also been added and we're really excited to get a spin on the rest of the range so we can try them out for ourselves. Both the Jazz and P bass also had a great vibe and we've found that while the tweaks have been fairly minimal, they've been effective and it's great to see that Fender have been able to maintain a similar ethos and price point when renewing their Mexican lineup.
As always, we welcome you to visit your local store and try these out for yourselves or to watch the videos above for more info and a full play-through. If this is a new dawn for what was traditionally known as Fender's Mexican Standard series then they've given us an excellent first impression which has left us eager for the arrival of the rest of the series!
