NAMM 2016 saw YouTube stars establish themselves as major for in the music gear industry. From signature gear to exclusive interviews and the most real time coverage, YouTube channels are displacing many traditional media outlets for gear. Here, in no particular order, are some of the people spotted at NAMM this year, a long with a fascinating interview with Rob Scallon by The Tone King, and you might notice a few other familiar faces.
1) The Tone King
So if you watched the first video, you'll know who's coming up on the list. The Tone King brought us his usual insightful videos as well as some of first coverage with videos coming from the day before while the booths were being set up.
2) Rob Chapman and Lee Anderton
Bringing us more excellent real time uploads was Andertons and there head honchos Rob and Lee.
3) Mick Taylor and Daniel Steinhardt (That Pedal Show)
Joining them was Mick and Dan from That Pedal Show and The Gig Rig, allowing Andertons to cover even more this year than last year.
4) Roman (Shnobel Tone)
Roman from Schnobel continues his channels guitar pedal emphasis over to NAMM, with some of the most in depth coverage of the likes of Wampler, JHS, Chase Bliss and more.
5) Henning Pauly (EytschPi42)
NAMM newcomer from Germany, Henning invades NAMM with his unique style and excitement.
6) Rob Scallon
Moving on to the rock/metal world, Rob Scallon was also around, although most of the time he seemed to spend playing his new signature from Chapman guitars.
7) Jared Dines
Jared Dines manage to shoot one of his classic metal humour videos, in the middle of NAMM!
8) Ryan Bruce (Fluff)
Product Rep for the Two Notes booth, Fluff was also out in force and managed to stop working long enough for an interview with The Tone King.
9) Phillip McKnight
A name that may not be as familiar to some of you, Phillip has been a growing channel for 2016. Owner of McKnight Guitar Co, he brings us excellent insider news and expert opinions on his channel. One to watch for 2016.
10) PixxyLixxx
Making this a list of ten, PixxyLixx can be seen in the intro to this quick video. We might get some post NAMM uploads from him on his channel, so check back soon.
