Woke up today to find new episodes from That Pedal Show, Rob and Lee as well as Tim Pierce and Pete Thorn, so thought it would be a great opportunity to run through some of the best guitar gear duos on YouTube.
1) That Pedal Show
Daniel Steinhardt, owner/founder of TheGigRig and Mick Taylor of Guitarist Magazine/Andertons fame, host one of the most information Guitar shows on YouTube. Exploring everything from the basics to the last subtle nuance of tone, there's something for every level of player, and some tasting playing to boot!
2) Chappers And The Captain
Rob Chapman is the most subscribed to gear demo artists on YouTube, and has built that following not least because of his collaborations with Lee from Anderton's Music. Both funny and informative, it's one of the must watch gear shows on YouTube.
3) Tim and Pete's Guitar Show
Tim Pierce and Pete Thorn host the gear show for the pros. Both highly accomplish session guitarists, the offer unique tone secrets as well as glimpses into the music industry with interviews with many other great players.
4) The SuperFunAwesomeHappyTime Pedal Show
Heading down under, Gabor and Alex, are the Jemaine and Bret of the guitar gear community (yes I know Flight of the Concords were from New Zealand not Australia). The gear show with the longest name takes you deep into every last little feature of that weeks pedal.
5) 60 Cycle Hum
Rounding out our list is Ryan and Steve from 60 Cycle Hum. While primarily hosting their podcast, they also offer some great gear demos and occasional video episodes, so be sure to check them out when they do.
