More grit, great balance, A5 twang. A simple recipe but a potent one. Glyn Evans works from Auckland, New Zealand and is fast gaining a reputation as one of the great pickup winders of the world. This set, which he calls "Cruel Mistress set" are my first and very happy experience with Glyn's brand. They have a strong, clear and steely voice that I haven't experienced with any other set. The neck pickup especially is something to go after. Lovely work, mate!
