We love Eastman Guitars; they represent some of the best value for money, high quality guitars around. The SB57 was announced back at NAMM 18 and it's certainly a guitar that deserved to be noticed.
Inspired by the classic single cut design, this SB57 features a one piece solid Mahogany body with a solid carved Maple top finished in black. It's a vintage combination that provides stunning tonal results, rich and resonant it's every bit as impressive as its American counterparts. With authentically old school looks, this beauty and will only continue to develop with further use.
The one piece Mahogany neck boasts a slick Ebony fingerboard, 12" radius, 24.5" scale length, 22 frets and cream binding. Smooth and well balanced it offers easy access right up the neck, perfect for lead runs.
Loaded with a pair of Custom Wound Lollar Imperial humbuckers in place of the previously utilised Seymour Duncan 59s as in the SB59, the SB57 has a smooth and varied tonal response. Beautifully balanced and with an unreal clarity and note definition, these pickups have taken Eastman to the next level.
Whether you're a blues player, jazzer or classic rock tone fiend, the SB57 can provide knockout tones above and beyond what you would expect from a guitar of this price. It's a real winner. While their name may not carry the same weight as other more established manufacturers, the quality of their guitars certainly does!
