CKK's Royal Fuzz crosses the line between distortion and fuzz. You'll experience some low-end fuzz action and a smoother distortion-like top end. The CKK Electronic Royal Fuzz has a medium to high-gain distortion/fuzz range and offers two 'styles' - FET and diode - as well as a mid-boost toggle that throws in a little more punch. It will do a convincing Muff or distortion but happily has its own sound which, to me, makes for a great soaring solo tone. I think fuzz freaks will dig it and probably more so when they realise how much it doesn't cost.
