Building on the legacy of their popular Lo-Fi Kilobyte delay, Caroline have given the Megabyte the most requested features such as tap tempo and more delay time while preserving all the characteristics that made the original so musical. With two old school delay chips, the Megabyte has double the delay time of 1200ms and you can control is all with the knob or tap it in using 3 subdivisions (1/4, 1/8, or dotted 1/8). The tweaked Havoc circuit takes the repeats to the max amount, bringing out unstoppable self-oscillation whether you’ve dialed in a clean or dirty delay. Speaking of the delay signal, the tasty 21dB input preamp is packed with an enormous amount of boost that can push the delay signal into saturation, while the modulation trimpot adds a slow sway that further separates the Lo-Fi delay tones from your unaffected dry signal. Other features include an internal switch for kill dry, another to limit the self-oscillation and a convenient trails or true bypass selection that is made by simply holding the bypass footswitch. Each Megabyte is lovingly created in Columbia, SC, USA.
