Dagan reviews one of the highlights from the 2019 Gibson range – the Gibson Les Paul Classic Gold Top.
Although this is not taken from the new Gibson Original or Gibson Modern collection, this was definitely one of the highlights from the 2019 range – the last of the guitars from Henry’s reign at Gibson.
This Gibson Les Paul features a set of Burstbucker (Zebra) pickups with 2 push pull coil tap volume pots and 2 push pull tone pots that can put your pickups in pure bypass or phase.
In addition, the 9-hole weight relief makes it easier to carry after those long recording or jam sessions. A slim taper neck provides great playability and the 22 frets with rosewood fingerboard are a joy to play.
This is one of the last guitars from Henry’s position at Gibson, and one of the best options – be quick before its gone forever.
