Welcome to the show! In this episode we’re talking about reverb. It is perhaps the most ubiquitously available effect for electric guitar, given that it comes included in a great many guitar amplifiers. But therein lies the ‘problem’ Your amp has reverb, so why would you use a reverb pedal as well? In fact why use reverb at all?!
The most obvious answer – and the one we discuss in the video – is that not all reverb is the same. Far from it! With that in mind we explore some of the many and varied reverb types that will hopefully inspire you to give it a go. Come on, let’s get into some space!
