On this week’s Academy Of Tone, Thomas and Kai are delving into the various switching options with AMP1 to work out what’s best for their own rigs – or indeed yours!

AMP1 might come with three footswitches as standard, but the fun doesn’t stop there, and if you need more switching options we’ve got you covered! But how to make this work for you, and what do you need to do the job?

Let Thomas and Kai show you the way! The guys will start by looking at AMP1’s built-in switches – will are actually more flexible than it might first appear – and then expand from there. First, they’ll show you what you can do by simply adding a standard two-button footswitch to your AMP1. Then, it’s on to the more serious switching options: the BluGuitar REMOTE1 and various 3rd party MIDI controllers. No matter how simple or complex your switching needs, you’ll find your solution here.

In the second half of the show, Thomas has a secret Strat travel hack that’ll blow your mind – and save your next vacation or business trip!
