Drawing on the legacy of the still great Lexicon 224, the CXM 1978 brings all of the charm and sounds to the present in a pedal/desktop format with beautifully intuitive controls, automated faders, selectable clock resolution and full MIDI control. It's an extraordinary feat and a piece of equipment that should find a permanent home on as many studio desks as pedalboards. 10/10.
