This video demonstrates how to use Werkstatt-01 to expand the melodic capabilities of DFAM.

While DFAM is capable of generating both percussive and melodic elements in a patch simultaneously, it’s often at the expense of more complex drum sounds, or a more detailed melodic component. Combining DFAM and Werkstatt-01 allows you to take advantage of the entire voice architecture of DFAM to generate deeper percussive sounds, while still utilizing DFAM’s pitch sequencer to control Werkstatt-01’s voice, yielding richer and more flexible melodic elements for your patch.
