All hail the mighty Rams Head muff. A mid 70's classic responsible for some of the best tones and inspired solos (and songs) in rock history.
This tip o' the hat from Steve Painter's Buffalo FX does justice to the legacy in a big way. Firstly, it uses the BC239c transistors as its tone generators. Google that reference as it's a good story. Then you've got the handwired construction, solid tall case, side mounted battery compartment and the most important thing of all: a sound that won't let you stop playing. The NOSBC239c RAMS HEAD is a thing of beauty indeed.
