Watch ROLI product specialist Ruben Dax explain how to use the different BLOCKS components to create your custom workflow. Here Ruben is using the Lightpad Block, Loop Block and Live Block.
The beauty of Blocks is that everything snaps into place like Legos. Even better, since BLOCKS is a wireless, when you connect your BLOCKS together they will share the same Bluetooth connection to your Smart phone so you don't need to worry about separately pairing each BLOCKS component to your device.
While the Lightpad block is your main instrument in the setup giving you five dimensional control over the NOISE software or your software instruments, the Live Block lets you change the settings of the Lightpad Block. You can use the Live Block to switch to Chord Mode, apply an Arpegiattor, change volume within the software, and transpose octave up and down.
The Loop Block allows you to quickly switch to recording mode, toggle the metronome on/off, turn on quantize, and of course set up loops.
