A true guitarist's guitarist, Robben Ford's abilities as a jazz, rock and blues player led to him being named one of the '100 Greatest Guitarists of the 20th Century' by Musician Magazine. The California native initially made his name in the '70s with Tom Scott and the LA Express before launching a successful solo career recording with his band the Yellowjackets. Ford has also collaborated with such musical luminaries as Miles Davis, Greg Allman, Joni Mitchell and even Kiss. After more than 35 years in the business, Ford is still going strong and released his first album in three years, Soul On Ten, in February of 2010. He also tours constantly and conducts guitar clinics around the country. In this GSTV interview he shares insights on his style and artistry, along with some incredible playing.
