Long before Brian May launched his own brand of electric guitars, in an early homage to his “Red Special” guitar, Guild produced just a few hundred of these BHM1 Brian May Signature models from 1984-1986, making this 1984 Sea Foam Green edition all the more “Special,” indeed! While this one came with its own Brian May Power Booster pedal, there’s no getting around how high you have to crank that Vox Top Boost circuit to get May’s signature “Red Special” sound!
