Armin Metz (Germany) is playing his original song "Nawe". I met him at Musikmesse, but he had no bass with him. So we borrowed one from Jay-Tee Teterissa. Armin's chord slap technique in its basics was originally inspired by Kai Eckhardt and is used in several of his compositions. He's the bass player of the Nadishana Trio (Russia) and also known for playing as multi-instrumentalist with the great Imogen Heap (UK). His first solo album will be released fall 2014 (hint.... it's great!) :) The bass is a Bardoul (swampash body, birdseye maple top, maple neck & fretboard), equipped with True Temperament Fretting System, EMG Pickups, a passive tone control, and a D-Tuner. It was made in the USA.
