Larry Schemel of Death Valley Girls plays a Plumes using humbuckers, allowing you to feel the heavier side of things in this EarthQuaker Devices First Impression. Plumes Small Signal Shredder adds more midrange and presence, with the ability to use three different clipping modes via a 3-way toggle for sculpting your overdrive to taste.
Clipping modes:
1. Symmetrical LED clipping - More Crunch and Compression.
2. No clipping - Wide open OpAmp drive for clean boost.
3. Asymmetrical silicon diode clipping - More transparency with a loose feel.
Level: This controls the output volume.
Gain: This controls the amount of drive.
Tone: More bass to the left, more middles in the middle and more treble to the right.
