Danelectro's Billion Dollar Boost gets its inspiration from an 80's classic whose brand I believe starts with 'B' and whose model name contains the letters 'FET'. But I could be wrong ... but I don't think so. It has a particular sound that lends itself greatly to livening up the front end of an amp - as I've hopefully demonstrated here. Check it out and turn it up.
