There's a new "does wood even matter on electric guitars" video here on youtube. It's made by Jim Lill and it's a series of tests and comparisons.
It's super interesting, you should watch it. My conclusion is very different than Jim's though, let me explain why. Enjoy the video!

** Why the ANZEIGE (=Ad) message? **
