VoiceJam has a great feature called shots mode. It turns a powerful looper into something like a drum sampler. First record an empty loop long enough to hold the rhythmic sounds you plan to capture. With shots mode enabled, start overdub recording, and then press each loop at the exact moment you make the rhythm noise with your voice etc... Then turn off recording and have fun with your vocal "drum pads".
