Lewitt Audio are a new brand at Professional Music Technology, offering huge range of microphones to suit all applications, both live and in the studio. All of their mics are designed in Vienna, Austria utilising high quality components, starting with affordable entry level models going right up to professional grade tube microphones.
In this video, we check out 3 of their more affordable condenser microphones. Firstly is the LCT-240 Pro, a great value entry level mic perfect for recording vocals, guitars and other instruments, but is also one of the best cheap microphones for podcasting and streaming.
We also look at the LCT-440 Pure, which features a larger diaphragm than the 240 and a lower noise floor, making it one of the best home studio microphones for recording vocals, capturing every detail and nuance of a performance.
Both the LCT-240 and 440 come supplied with a custom fit shock cradle and a from wind shield, with the LCT-440 also coming with a metal pop shield, making them some of the best value vocal mics available.
The last microphone (or should we say microphones!) featured in this video is the LCT-140 Air. Supplied in a stereo pair, this is a pencil condenser microphone designed for recording instruments such as acoustic guitars and drums. It features two modes, flat response and Air mode (which adds a little top end sparkle, great for recording acoustic guitars), an 80hz low cut filter and a -12db pad switch for louder sound sources.
