Here's a fun video with 5 guys that dropped by the booth to test out the new FatMetal. The FatMetal is a tweaked version of the TightMetal, made for guys who want less palm-muted chunk and more of a thicker, scarier distortion. It's particular suited for Black Metal, Doom/Sludge Metal tones, but with the Tight turned up it can still get some nice chunky Death Metal tones. The video includes Bryan Kehoe, Teddy Shrader of The Generators, and Jason Frankhouser of Course of Ruin. (Jason also has done several great demo videos for us and others, so be sure to check out his youtube page, http://www.youtube.com/user/killertonetexas).
We had the TightMetal patched into the SideTrak loop of the FatMetal, to help with quick comparisons, and were running it at 9V. Running into the clean channel of a Schecter Hellraiser clean channel, and recorded using an M-Audio Microtrak and an iPhone for the video.
