This cherry red cutie is quite an inspiring semi-hollow! The secret of its delights is the contrast between its lows and highs. Its bass response is warm, woody, and round, while its high-end is lush and jangly with a veritable cornucopia of chiming overtones! The way that its woody, percussive attack blooms into rich, open-sounding sustain is an utter delight. The bridge pickup's lows are woody but tight, and the high-end has a truly glorious golden sheen of jangle. The neck pickup has a surprising amount of sparkle, and the high-end sings like Etta James with plenty of warm beef in the lows. Anyone looking for a ES-335 with an utterly addictive, sunny-sounding voice will love this serial!
