If you own one of the older TSL100/122 or an older DSL100 then this video will be for you. The TSL100 had many problems with main board issue 7 and before. But here I show you how to solve it all and fit an issue 20 board that solves the problem forever.
Here's how to change the main board, but I also show more about fixes for other amp problems that can exist on this Marshall amp and even include a full example of re-biasing the amp. Lastly the amplifier is played through so you get a good idea how it sounds... I play LightpipeAI from an album I created back in 2006.
The TSL100 (jcm2000) is one of those amps that did get a 'bad name' and these can be bought very cheaply - and that's great, because even including a new board can cost you less than £400 for the amp AND the board. Many guys love the TSL100 (and the DSL amp) so why not fix yours and you could have an amplifier for life.
Don't bother with the forum fixes, the bodges that can be seen everywhere, do the job right with an issue 20 board and you won't go wrong. Anything else I honestly would not waste time and money on.
