Treble Boosters are old-school overdrives, usually represented in modern thought circles by the Dallas Rangemaster and to a lesser extent the Hornby-Skewes models. They were designed to hit the the front end of 'dark' amps like JTM45's and AC30's with extra treble and power. And they sure did! They're still popular with players who know how to employ them properly and I like collecting clones of the now non-affordable old originals. So here's a look at some of those along with an attempt to create a similar treble booster inside the Axe-FX III. Rock on.
