I walked by this booth and thought the folks there were vaping, but no - they were using a portable nebulizer; apparently inhaling isotonic saline vapour helps hydrate vocal cords and airways. So I tried it. And yep, it felt good (and given I had a cough at the time, it felt like it helped that too, but I'm not sure that was just psychosomatic ;-)
Anyway, I filmed a short piece, and as I finished up, a couple of performers were at the booth, singing the praises of their Vocalmist nebulisers - so I filmed a quick piece with them too.
Not being a vocalist myself, I hadn't come across this, but seems a interesting idea. (Oh, and I purchased one myself, btw)
