In a recent interview with Variety magazine, Adam Levine (lead singer of Maroon 5) made comments that suggested he believed rock and roll was dead. Is rock and roll dead? Is it truly not as strong as it once was? I personally feel that many people making comments are not ones who have a place to comment on these remarks because that DO NOT live in the realm of rock and roll.
As a professional musician working in the rock genre I personally feel that rock music will never die. I also have my own personal stories why I believe it isn't but who is to blame for the recent downturn in rock music's popularity and influence.
