If you've been watching my videos for any length of time, you'll have seen a few of my previous metal zone videos. In this video I show you several NEW metal zone mods I've started doing here and there in my free time for fun:
*New Overdrive Mod
*Turning a Metal Zone into a "Rat" type distortion
*Turning a Metal Zone into a Fuzz
*NEW EQ mod
*Delay/Reverb Mod ;)

1:41 clean tone, then Overdrive mod
5:10 Rat type circuit conversion mod
6:57 New EQ mod
9:37 Fuzz conversion mod
11:52 Delay/Reverb conversion mod
As far as inquiries... I'm only accepting a handful of mods per month from customers. I'm modifying these, bd-2 bluesdrivers, sd-1 overdrives, and ds-1 overdrives and putting them up on my reverb store as I get time and complete them though: https://reverb.com/shop/brians-gear-emporium-356
For DIY'ers: no I don't have instructions at this time. However, just look at the schematic. separate the EQ portion from the "preamp" portion. Change each opamp to match a different circuit and BAM! there you go. So for example, it's entirely possible to create a tubescreamer mod simply by off-board wiring the stages in between the input buffer and the output volume just by looking at the two schematics and making the changes. It's a big task though, as it's not just as simple as replacing one part with another - you're literally rewiring the preamp circuit.
