My full chatty demo is at https://youtu.be/Xrjb_n_H4jU
I've used a Johnny Marr Jag in this no-chat video to try and illustrate what the Tribute is capable of. With all due respect to the mighty Jaguar, it's not known for its huge tones, but the Tribute can sort that out pretty quickly, as I hope this demo-jam confirms.
Start with a very able low to medium gain overdrive that doubles as a clean to dirty booster. Add a sweepable 70Hz-1.4kHz EQ with +/- 12dB on tap and you have something else entirely. This is a drive that can do cocked wah, turn single coils into big fat humbucker tones or turn humbuckers into something more stringy. And a lot more. The Tribute began life as Catalinbread's VariOboost, one of their earliest pedals. The Tribute takes that old classic to higher, lower, meaner or leaner ground. Have fun.
