The Red Ryder from Oneder Effects originally started as an idea to lend classic LM308 distortion to the bass world but soon became a sure fit for guitar players. It starts with traditional Asymmetrical clipping for Rat-like compression and harmonics but the Red Ryder also gives you LED clipping for a warmer, louder and dynamic distortion that borders on overdrive. Along with a high cut Tone control, a powerful pre-gain Weight control adds a hefty low-mid boost to fatten up any instrument’s signal path. The real key to this pedal’s versatile across instruments is the illuminated Wet/Dry blend, which brings in the dry signal alongside the distortion so you can retain your bass’ low end, increase dynamics and improve note definition in the grungiest high-gain setting. The Oneder Effects Red Ryder runs on standard 9V, uses silent true bypass and is made with great attention to detail in Michigan, USA.
