Start with a very able low to medium gain overdrive that doubles as a clean to dirty booster. Add a sweepable 70Hz-1.4kHz EQ with +/- 12dB on tap and you have something else entirely. This is a drive that can do cocked wah, turn single coils into big fat humbucker tones (see my no-chat Jag demo at https://youtu.be/Vwx_YpCaTyw) or turn humbuckers into something more stringy. And a lot more. The Tribute began life as Catalinbread's VariOboost, one of their earliest pedals. The Tribute takes it to higher, lower, meaner or leaner ground. Have fun.
