Rivet Pickups™ use independently-wired mini-coils to organically expand your guitar's tone.
Wire the mini-coils to push/pull pots to turn them on/off any time while your pickup selector switch selects between the full-sized coils.
Listen to the added low-end punch that you get when you turn on a mini-coil under the bass strings, and the focused high-end attack you get when you turn a mini-coil on under the treble strings.
Watch the pickup switch to see which full-sized pickup coil is selected at any give time, and watch the indicator lights to see which mini-coil(s) are on.
A Rivet™ '63 (mini-coil under the bass strings) is installed in the neck position and a Rivet™ '64 (mini-coil under the treble strings) is installed in the bridge position. Playing through a VVT Lindy Fralin Model amp (specs here: http://www.vvtamps.com/portfolio/lindyfralin1/) and recorded with a Shure SM-57.
