A quick teaser showing the ES-8 in some (ambient) action. You're hearing just one patch and a couple of pedals (loops) being switched in and out. The beauty of the ES-8 is its ability to be able to place loops in any order. I've tried to illustrate this for the video by placing the Strymon Mobius which is running a warped vinyl preset at the end of the chain.
Loop 1: Origin Cali76 Compressor - Ist position
Loop 2: Bondi Effects Sick As OD - 2nd position
Loop 3: Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe - 3rd position
Loop 4: Tech 21 OMG OD/Distortion - 4th position
Loop 5: Strymon Mobius - 8th position
Loop 6: GFI System Clockwork Delay -5th position
Loop 7: Eventide H9 Max (stereo) - 6th position
Loop 8: GFI System Specular Reverb (stereo) - 7th position
The Eventide H9 Max is running a slightly tweaked "Nero's Ascent" preset which is based on a Shimmer algorithm from the Space patches.
The Gentleman pedalboard was built by Caseman. See: http://www.pedalboardsbycaseman.com.au/gentleman.html
The pedals were chosen and placed by me and (incredibly well) wired and powered by Jack Hudson using only Free The Tone solderless cable, jacks and DC jacks. All of it is powered by a single T-Rex Goliath.
Further videos featuring this board and the ES-8 are forthcoming.
