This introduction is the first in a series designed to show you the specific features of the Voiceprint DI and the AcousticLive App, and show you how to use them in a bit more detail. For now, let’s do a brief overview.
The Voiceprint DI
The Voiceprint DI is the most powerful tool for live performance that we’ve made to-date. We’ve put a world of control at your fingertips with up to 99 presets of level controls, parametric EQ, feedback control, and our brand-new Voiceprint IR technology.
The Voiceprint technology uses our AcousticLive app and the processing power of your iPhone to analyze and capture your guitar’s unique Voiceprint. Then that Voiceprint is loaded into the DI where it can be used to reproduce the natural voice of your guitar in any playing situation.
AcousticLive is a free companion app available in the App Store. Once you download the app, you will be able to connect with the DI via Bluetooth and get started creating your own presets for your unique instruments.
In the app you have 4 main modules to give you total control over your sound.
● The Levels module allows you to adjust your Preset and input levels.
● The Voiceprint module is your hub for creating and fine-tuning your Voiceprints.
● The Feedback module has tools to help predict and control Feedback in live playing situations.
● And, the EQ module, which contains basic EQ presets as well as a fully adjustable 5-band parametric EQ with high-pass and low-pass filters.
Any combination of these powerful tools can be saved into presets for different instruments or different playing situations. And while you can store up to 99 presets in the Voiceprint DI, you can store virtually unlimited presets in your phone through the AcousticLive Preset Library.
AcousticLive also offers Apple Watch integration to give you an unprecedented level of control right at your fingertips, without any need to sacrifice your prized guitar for side-mounted controls.
