Available in their traditional Orange or as shown here, black vinyl, the Acoustic Crush is styled very similarly to their iconic electric guitar amps, but tonally, this 30 watt, 1x8” combo has been tailored to deliver a crisp, clear reproduction of your acoustic guitar’s tone, and with it’s tilt back cabinet design, it offers greater projection when placed directly on the floor.
The Crush 30 Acoustic is a 2 channel amp, one channel for a guitar and the other for either a microphone or another acoustic instrument. Inputs are switchable to accommodate active or passive pickups, and mic or line levels, and the mic channel offers switchable 48v power for condenser microphones. There’s separate volume and EQ controls so you can tweak and balance the tone of each channel, reverb or chorus effects can be adjusted and balanced between the two channels and the master volume section has an adjustable notch filter to help combat feedback when performing at louder volumes.
There’s an auxiliary input and on the rear panel, a line out, effects send and return, and to connect into a PA system, an XLR DI output.
10 AA batteries will give you around 3 hours playing time at full volume, and up to 5 hours at lower volumes, meaning that when you combine this versatility with it’s compact, lightweight design, you’ve got an amp that’s not only great for practicing and small solo gigs, but it’s also an ideal busking amp as you can use it at decent volumes without needing mains power.
