Luca Colombo is fast becoming synonymous with quality, handmade pedals that have a real knack for capturing classic tones. The Pulse Driver is no exception. Drawing its foundation tone from the classic Tube Driver, Luca also gives us the ability to alternate virtual tube types; 12AU7, 12AT7 and (as per the original) 12AX7 are all on tap and all will make a significant difference to your feel and tone depending on what amp the pedal is seeing. Anyone who feels that vintage examples of the original are a little too pricey for them will be glad to see the Pulse Driver, I think. It sounds huge!
