Du and the Deep Trip crew make very fine fuzz pedals. We know that. The Stormy Monday is their first overdrive-type pedals and there's a lot to love about it. I love that it's basically a little tube amp circuit pushed to the limit and controlled with simple Gain (input stage) and Tone (low-pass filter). I love that you ride this bad boy all night with your guitar's volume knob and probably get all the great cleans and dirt you'll need, just like you could with a little 18W Marshall, for example. I love that it looks amazing and that there's a trippy see-through panel on the front of the rather tough case. But most of all I love the sound. It sounds good. Very good.
