Fender's NAMM guitars are always exciting, and I'm a sucker for natural Teles and semi-hollows, so I was quite excited to play this Tele Thinline. I am happy to report that it exceeded my sky-high expectations! It has a wonderfully percussive attack with some nice vintage-style sag, and it'll really twang if that's what you want. Overall, it has a warm, open voice with plenty of woody punch in the mids. The bridge pickup has just the right amount of toothiness, and its focused midrange and chiming highs ensure that it will work well in a variety of applications and genres. After all, how can you go wrong with sparkle and punch? The neck pickup is warm and throaty, with round low end beneath broad midrange and smooth, sweet highs. Anyone looking for a terrific Thinline will love this serial!
